Is the API read-only?

Yes. Keys can read your organisation’s results; they cannot change anything.

How are keys stored?

Only a hash is stored. The key is shown once when you create it, and an admin can revoke it at any time.

Does it work with claude.ai and ChatGPT?

Yes. Add Eye as a custom connector with its MCP address and sign in with Eye: no key to copy. Claude Code, Cursor and Claude Desktop can also use an API key, and the OpenAPI spec lets you build a custom GPT action.
